Lowongan Kerja - Senior Finance Manager

Job Summary :
  • Plan and coordinate the day-to-day financial activities related to one or more of the specific financial areas in order to provide on-going support to the business
Typical Responsibilities :
  1. Plan and coordinate the daily financial activities for the responsible business units / areas according to the company’s operating policies and procedures
  2. Coordinate and assist in the annual financial planning / budgeting process according to guidelines and schedules
  3. Monitor financial activities which are relevant to the responsible business area such as taxation, credit policy, cash flow and investment policy, costing and expense control, insurance arrangements and property administration to ensure they are within operating policies and procedures and to recommend any cost-effective or efficient actions for sustained profitability
  4. Provide and interpret financial data to provide management information on cost allocation and controls, comparison of results against budget, income and expenditure analysis, etc
  5. Manage the successful delivery of financial projects according to project schedule and budgets
  6. Analyze and recommend appropriate financial processes / activities considering the business implications, cost and consistency with current and future business directions
  7. Ensure completion and completeness of financial statements to an auditable level each month
  8. Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements
People Management :
  • Utilize the Performance and Development Plan to communicate and assess performance objectives, competency lists and development plans for direct reports
  • Ensure effective performance management system is implemented and aligned with regional directions in order to recognize desired performance for business advantage
  • Establish high standards of performance and hold associates firmly accountable for meeting those standards
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training plans to ensure that associates are able to grow and demonstrate mastery of required competencies in their jobs and deliver desired performance levels
  • Provide support, recognition and feedback to assist associates towards achieving the desired performance expectation and standards
  • Act as coach, guide and mentor to employees
  • Ensure that associates are aware of the nature of their specific roles in relationship to the local market, the sub-region and overall regional operation
  • Establish a strong team environment focused on exceeding internal and external client requirements
  • Conduct consistent periodic coaching "work with-s" to observe team members with clients and provide feedback
  • Contribute to driving world class employee satisfaction through the implementation of relevant organizational initiatives that build on employee commitment
  • Address professional development goals and needs of direct reports
  • Ensure proper dissemination of information and implementation of company rules and regulations as well as policies and procedures
Organizational Management and Development :
  1. Ensure alignment of operating systems and processes that will enable the business unit to achieve the overall business objectives
  2. Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs
  3. Promote inter-departmental and inter-divisional communications and teamwork
Typical Position Pre-requisites :
  1. University degree in Accounting (MBA desirable)
  2. 6 to 9 years accounting / finance working experience in multinational companies environments
  3. Previous working experience in FMCG (marketing / sales) industry desired
  4. Able to work under pressure and must able to handle multi tasking job
  5. Good people management skill
  6. Effective communications skills
