Our good client, a big national coal mining company in Indonesia, currently opening a position in Senior Geologist Manager to be place in Balikpapan / Kalimantan.
Senior Geologist Manager (Coal mining)
(Kalimantan Timur - Balikpapan)
Responsibilities:
* Plant detailed exploration of the coal concession, including identifying outcrops.
* Able to calculate reserve estimation from borehole data.
* Plan borehole drilling patterns
* Lead and monitor a team of Junior Geologists and Surveyors in daily tasks, such as mapping, surveying and drilling
* Able to use GEOARC AutoCAD for mapping and reserve estimation
* Coordinate with Mining Department regarding future mining plans and pit limit markings
* Coordinate with Humas Department, regarding making of land of different owners
* Communicate with surveyor regarding topographic survey
Requirements:
* Bachelor Degree in Geological Engineering
* Advance to use GEOARC Mineral exploration system is a must
* Minimum 20 years experience in Mining industry
* 15 year or more experiences in Coal Mining Industry
* Willing to be place in Balikpapan without any consequences
* Attended related training coal mining courses is an advantage
* Must have leadership skills
* Fluent in English (written and speaking) and French is a must
* Computer literate and Microsoft office expert
* Available and willing to travel
* Able to work under pressure and multitask
